Arrangements are being made to prepare for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s visit to the United States of America.
He further said that the foreign ministry was moving ahead by thoroughly analysing the multiple dimensions of Nepal’s foreign policy, especially the basic principle of advancing the nation’s development without compromising on its sovereignty, independence and dignity. “Nepal has been presenting itself accordingly in the international platforms and is now beginning to see the results,” he said.
Khadka also informed that the Chief of Army Staff would go to the US after visiting Syria and said that the visits of high-ranking officials to and from friendly countries would continue. He further shared that the issue of Limpiyadhura and other encroached territories had been raised during Prime Minister Deuba's India visit and the Foreign Ministry was ready to resolve it through diplomatic initiatives.
He clarified that Nepal did not lean to the north or the south and was firm in its balanced policy for the benefit of Nepal.
